Storm & Hail Damage Roof Repair in Joshua, TX

An assessment of what the storm actually did, photographed and written down, so you can make a decision about your roof and your claim with something real in front of you.

Storm clouds building over a residential neighbourhood of single-family homes

After a hail event in Johnson County the driveway fills up fast. Someone is at the door within hours, the roof is totalled, the paperwork is already out, and there is an offer to handle your deductible. The whole sequence is designed to get a signature before you have any independent idea what happened to your roof.

You cannot see your own roof, which is the entire leverage in that conversation. So we take it away: we get up there, photograph what is there, mark the hits, and give you the pictures and a written summary. Then you decide — with us, with somebody else, or not at all.

What a storm assessment covers

  • Field inspection for hail bruising — the soft spots where the mat has been fractured even when the surface still looks intact.
  • Granule loss measured against the areas of roof the storm could not reach, which is the comparison that separates hail from age.
  • Wind damage: creased shingles, lifted tabs, unsealed courses and missing ridge cap.
  • Collateral checks that tell you whether hail was actually large enough to matter — soft metals, vents, gutters, window wraps and the AC condenser fins.
  • Penetrations, valleys and flashing, which is where a storm most often turns into a leak weeks later.
  • A written summary with the photographs, dated, in a form you can hand to your insurer.

How it runs

  1. 01Call and describe the event and the date. We book the assessment.
  2. 02We inspect and photograph the roof and the collateral, and mark what we find.
  3. 03You get the photo set and the written summary. If there is nothing meaningful, that is what it says — plenty of roofs come through a storm fine.
  4. 04If you open a claim, your adjuster inspects and decides coverage. We can be on the roof at that inspection to show what we documented, and any repair or replacement is priced line by line.

What you get in writing

  • A dated photo set of the roof and the collateral damage
  • A written summary of findings in plain language
  • A line-item repair or replacement price, separate from anything to do with the claim
  • A written workmanship warranty on the work itself

Hail and the Texas rules, plainly

Joshua sits in the part of North Texas where hail is a routine spring event rather than a rare one, and the storm-chasing trade follows it. Two things are worth knowing. First, in Texas a roofing contractor is not permitted to act as a public adjuster on your claim — anyone offering to handle the whole claim for you is describing something they are not allowed to do. Second, it is against Texas law for a contractor to pay, waive, absorb, rebate or advertise away your insurance deductible. An offer to make your deductible disappear is not a discount, and the person offering it is telling you what they are willing to do to your paperwork. We document, we price, and we stay on our side of that line.
